Weird and Wonderful Wood is back!
Join us for another extraordinary and award winning Suffolk event with lots to see and do. We have over 120 stalls, sculpture, wood turning, instrument making, fletchers and bowyers, hurdle making, chain saw carving, archery, Monkey-Do tree climbing, children's workshops, live music, entertainment, spontaneous happenings, local food and drink and much more for all the family. Come along and see what everyone is talking about!
Returning to delight visitors young and old with beautiful handmade wood crafts, stalls, demonstrations, free workshops, live music, spontaneous happenings and local food & drink. A magical celebration of all things wood, from fine furniture and sculpture to archery, tree climbing and den building. There’s huge surprises around every corner!
You can join in and learn to drum, build with clay, learn to hula hoop, do a willow workshop, make a mini garden, try archery, use a spoke shave, build with scrap wood, make a puppet, hear a story, watch a show, whittle a spoon, test your strength, climb a tree with Monkey Do, play giant games, meet a fairy, see a mechanical dragon, make friends with a cavewoman, and more!
The organisers have an ethos of keeping the event affordable for families, so once you’re at the event all the activities are free.
This is the 30th anniversary of Weird and Wonderful Wood so come along and join in the celebrations!
