On Sunday 10 November there will be a Remembrance Parade and wreath laying service on Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds.
The units will exit the Abbey Gardens at 10.40am, led by the RAF Honington Voluntary Band, and will form up at the War Memorial for a wreath laying service. Following the wreath laying service, the units will march past the saluting dais on the way to St Mary’s Church, for a Service of Commemoration. Abbey Gardens will be closed to the public until 2pm on Sunday 10 November. Angel Hill, Chequer Square and Crown Street will be closed for Remembrance Day Parade on Sunday 10 November 2024 from 10am – 2pm, and the parking will be suspended in these areas and layby in Honey Hill from 6pm Saturday 9 November until 2pm Sunday 10 November 2024.
