Our ancestors drummed to celebrate and commemorate, in times of transition, sorrow or joy.
Join Bear number 9 as they demonstrate the processes of preparing and making sacred drums in the Saxon-Village throughout the week.

See how to transform fresh deer hide into raw hide by soaking, scraping, stretching and drying.
