As part of the ‘Moments’ street art exhibition that’s coming to Bury St Edmunds, The Crafty Foxes are offering children aged 10 years+ the chance to take a ‘moment of time’ to get creative and make a crafty clock for their bedroom. They will look at some famous graffiti street artists' pictures and then, with the help of The Crafty Foxes, get painting and design their own unique working clock. The children will cut out the numbers for their clock from sticky back vinyl and then individually spin their own vinyl record and squeeze coloured acrylic paint onto it, from a height! This technique produces the most incredible images and is mesmerising to watch. The children will get to what each other’s too, which is always fun! Once the paint has dried, they will peel off the vinyl to reveal the clock numbers and then insert the clock mechanism. The clock is then available for them to take home! For children aged 10+ Children need to wear old clothes as they will be using paints that have a tendency to get everywhere! Please note: This activity is just for children, so please drop your children off and collect them at the end of the workshop. Parking is nearby in the Arc Shopping Centre. Each child will have their own table with their own individual items on it. All children will be kept apart as much as possible on separate tables, spaced according to the COVID-19 regulations. If coming with siblings or others in their bubble, two tables can be moved together. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to notify them. Please note: Children aged 11+ must wear a face covering in accordance with government guidelines. Times: 10.30am-12.30pm and 2pm-4pm Tickets: £20 per child Venue: The Apex, Bury St Edmunds This event is promoted by The Crafty Foxes.
