Cancer Research UK Bury St Edmunds Race for Life

Join us as we beat cancer on 11 October 2020 by taking part in the Bury St Edmunds Race for Life at Nowton Park.

Everyone wins the Race for Life (except cancer)!

This is not a race. This is a 5k like no other. This is thousands of people uniting with one purpose. To come together. To raise money. To beat cancer.

The Race for Life is a series of routes around the country that give people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities the chance to come together and show cancer who's boss. They're not races, or runs, and everyone wins the Race for Life (except cancer).

10k (or just over six miles) may sound a little daunting, but it's not when you know you can do it at your own pace. If you've taken part in one of our 5k events before, and would like to try a longer route, or if you just think that 10k is a better distance for you.

Everyone can join in, including dogs! Suitable for all ages (children must be accompanied by an adult).

All money raised will be used to fund research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of all types of cancer.

Please wear suitable clothing and footwear (trainers/running shoes) and be prepared for all weather. There is car parking via the Main entrance and Nursery entrance. If possible, please try and car pool with friends and family. Alternatively catch the number 854 bus to the Nowton Estate bus stop which is a 15 minute walk away from the venue. The nearest train station is Bury St Edmunds however please note that the venue is a 45 minute walk away.
