Event details

Spend a morning or afternoon exploring Clare whilst we keep the little ones busy!

Based in the Old Goods Shed in Clare Castle Country Park, textile artist Maggie Gospel, will work with the children as they print their own tote bag using leaves from the Park. 3 hours later they will have produced a unique printed tote bag and a framed picture using fabric transfer crayons.

This fun and exciting club will see your child make their own naturally printed bag and a fabric transfer picture to take home. Over three hours your child will let their creative juices flow by choosing their favourite leaves and foliage from the Park, creating a vibrant and unique printing design and seeing the magic happen as their chosen leaves create a spectacular pattern on their one-of-a-kind bag!

Whilst the magic is happening, and the bag is steaming (to develop the dazzling print) your child will create a picture using fabric transfer crayons. But what is a picture without a frame?! Oil pastels and watercolours will finish off a colourful frame to be displayed with pride!
