Mildenhall Museum has something for everyone from its pre-history room with flints and fossils to its 1950’s community room. View the Lakenheath Warrior, his horse and artefacts from the grave. This exciting collection gives an insight into the Anglo-Saxon world. Take a guided walk from the museum to the fourteenth century church via the Market Place taking in the medieval timber framed buildings, medieval market cross structure and unusual roof ridge decorations. The church has an exceptionally fine nave with hovering angels and many other interesting features.
