Event details

Tracy Borman returns to Lavenham with her new book about Henry VIII, famous for being the king who married six times.

But it was the men in his life, far more than the women, who shaped this notorious monarch.

Tracy Borman tells the story of Henry through the eyes of the men who surrounded him: relations, servants, ministers, rivals, confidantes and companions. It is these men who shaped Henry into the man and monster that he would become. And he, in turn, dictated their fates.

Tracy Borman is joint chief curator for Historic Royal Palaces, and Chief Executive of the Heritage Education Trust. She is also a highly successful author and broadcaster, with a long list of acclaimed novels and historical biographies.
