An introductory historical talk by George Agnew in the Meadow Room at Blackthorpe Barn followed by a 2 hour walk to the ruins of Rougham Hall and back, seeing parts of the old parkland and gardens.
George Agnew will give a power – point presentation on the history of Rougham Hall in the Meadow Room at Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham and will then lead a walk to the ruins of Rougham Hall, passing through woodland before crossing the A14 bridge and up the driveways to Rougham Hall. He will give further details on site and will finally lead the group back to Blackthorpe Barn. -Strong footwear advisable. -Well behaved dogs on leads permitted. -The walk passes through woodland and could be muddy if wet. -The woodland section of the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs.
