The Katharine of Aragon Pop-Up Experience

Join us at Bury St Edmunds Library for an immersive experience which strips away the spectacle of the Tudor court to reveal the pulse of the woman beneath the crown.

This event is a free, interactive pop-up. Participants will be invited to grab a pair of headphones and explore the library space while listening to the story of Katharine's love of books and her role in championing women's education, all recorded here in the heart of East Anglia.

Through a masterful blend of text and innovative binaural soundscapes, explore Katharine’s devotion, defiance, and resilience, and discover why her story resonates so powerfully today.

This casual drop in takes up to 30 minutes depending on the audio experience you opt for.

Whether you’re a history buff, a theatre lover, or just passing through the library, pop in and be whisked away by Slaget Theatre's KATHARINE.
