Lavenham Literary Festival Stewart White

Join us in Little Hall, Lavenham where BBC Look East presenter Stuart White discusses his book See you at 6.30

For more than 37 years Stewart White presented Look East on BBC1. Since he retired, he has used his experience of over 8,000 editions of the programme to write about the extraordinary range of people he met and interviewed.

These range from members of the Royal Family to a series of Prime Ministers. He also covers interviews with entertainers from movie stars like James Stewart to music legends Michael Jackson and the much loved, and recently deceased Dolly Parton.

He will also cover two of the biggest stories ever in this region, the Soham murders and the Ipswich murders.

There is sport, politics as well as his worries about the future of news coverage.

A real tour de force from one of our best loved local news presenters.
