This is for anyone with an interest in how we can all improve our environment and in his latest book Renaturing James Canton shows us how we can all take small but significant steps to support wildlife in everyday spaces.
Whereas rewilding concentrates on large landscapes, renaturing focuses on smaller efforts such as window boxes filled with pollinator friendly plants. James transformed a two-acre field into a thriving habitat, and he shares a range of practical ideas about how we can all contribute to ecological recovery
James Canton is Director of Wild Writing at the University of Essex and author of several nature focused books, including work promoting accessible environmental action for everyone. His book The Oak Papers was recently Radio 4’s Book of the Week.
