BurySOUND 2026 Heat 1

We're very excited to announce the full line-up for the BurySOUND Music Competition 2026.

BurySOUND will take place during January & February with five heats held at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds, and a Grand Final at Bury's megavenue The Apex in March. Each date will feature five competing artists, and one special guest headliner. The Grand Final will be headlined by last year’s winners H*LLO K*TTY FUN LAND

BurySOUND was founded in 1998 by the council's youth champion Jackie Smith and local promoter Paul Johnson, who wanted to provide opportunities for local artists seeking to write and perform their own material, in the hope that it would help to kickstart a scene in the West Suffolk area. 28 years on, the local music scene is still incredibly strong, vibrant and diverse.

This heat is hosted at The Hunter Club Arts Centre, 6 St Andrew's Street South, Bury St Edmunds IP33 3PH
