Bury St Edmunds Literature Festival returns for its 7th year, presenting the biggest and boldest festival yet in venues across the town centre!
At the heart of the festival is a wide array of fabulous author events. There’s fiction in every genre and riveting and rigorous author discussions that cover a wide-range of non-fiction subjects.
For children, we have free ticketed events for all age groups; including sensory storytelling for babies and preschoolers, interactive storytelling workshops for kids and an exploration of expression through poetry, rap and verse for young people. This year, we are expanding our programme to include creative writing workshops, film screenings and guided literary walks. We hope there is something for everyone!
We run a BRONZE, SILVER and GOLD TICKET discount scheme that offers reduced ticket prices for those who attend multiple author events over the course of the festival.
For selected events we offer:
- a +drink ticket, which allows you to pre-order a drink to collect on arrival for a discounted price.
- a +book ticket, which offers a 10% discount on the RRP of a featured author's book if you pre-order to collect on arrival.
Workshops, Walks, Fundraisers and Film Screenings run by our partners are priced to reflect the expertise, expense and time involved in delivering these high-quality activities run by professionals.
