From 4th to 20th December 2025, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Enjoy an arrival drink, delicious 3 course dinner, tea/coffee, a DJ, disco and much more!

Christmas at The Athenaeum includes...

Starter:
Classic prawn cocktail with juicy Atlantic prawns in a zesty Marie Rose sauce. Or a creamy goat’s cheese and red onion tart.

Main:
Succulent roast turkey and all the trimmings accompanied with a rich serving of rich sage and onion stuffing. Or a homemade vegetarian meat loaf paired with sweet and tangy braised red cabbage, creamy mashed potato and roasted root vegetables.

Dessert:
Traditional Christmas pudding with a silky brandy sauce. Or light choux pastry profiteroles with a luscious, orange-infused cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
