Introduction to Indian Block Printing - Ely

Join us for a hands-on block printing workshop in the heart of Ely.

In this inspiring session, participants will be guided through each stage of the process, learning how to select, ink, and press hand-carved wooden blocks to create their own stunning textile designs. What to Bring:
Block printing can be a little messy, so please wear old clothes or bring an apron as we will be using fabric paint.

Printing Options:
When you book your place you can choose what you would like to print on from a range of options. Options include napkins, tea towels, cushion covers, children's aprons, tote bags and table runners.

Refreshments:
We’ll have tea, coffee, cordial, and biscuits available throughout the session. You’re also welcome to bring any extra drinks or snacks to enjoy.

Optional Purchases:
If you fall in love with block printing (and we think you might!), We’ll have a few printing blocks available to buy at the end so you can keep exploring this beautiful art form at home.
