You are invited to come along to and try out the latest equipment and technology which is specifically designed for people with a visual impairment.
We will be joined by some of the UK’s leading suppliers who will provide live demonstrations of magnifiers, screen readers, daily living aids and lamps. You can experience first-hand how these tools can enhance your independence. Local organisations also attending on the day include: Newmedica, Sensing Change, SNEE Diabetic Eye Screening Programme, Patient Experience team from West Suffolk Hospital, and Bury St Edmunds Library. There will also be information about the services that Suffolk Sight provides, and how we can support people living with sight loss. You can bring along your own device and we can offer tailored support from our Access Tech team.
