Family cycling at Brandon Country Park

There are lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy at Brandon Country Park. From seasonal trails to runs, wildlife activities and community events - keep an eye on our What's On page for current events here at Brandon Country Park.

Interactive artist-led audio trail

Brandon Country Park now has an interactive artist-led audio trail - simply download a free app to your phone or tablet, and grab something to draw with, and something to draw on... During the guided walk experience, artist Genevieve Rudd will invite you to take notice of your surroundings and use simple sensory creative techniques that help you tune into the environment, as she encourages you to take a fresh look at the natural world around you and experiment with drawing, writing and photography!

Parkrun

Every Saturday morning at 9am enjoy a 5km parkrun here at Brandon Country Park – it's you against the clock, so join in whatever your pace or ability!

Dog walking

Dogs are welcome, and we want them to enjoy it as much as you do! But please remember to clean up after your dog, and keep them under control at all times.
Please note: The Walled Garden and Tearoom are dog-free areas (except of course assistance dogs which are always welcome).

Cycling

We have links to High Lodge and their trails.

The Brecks Trail (a cycling-friendly 14 miles/22.5km linear trail between Brandon Country Park and West Stow Country park) runs from the main car park with cycle racks by the front entrance.

Please note: The lake-lawns and picnic areas are non-cycling zones. Cyclists, please follow the cyclist code and give way to walkers.

Please remember during your activities at Brandon Country Park:

  • Guard against all risks of fire – no barbeques
  • Keep dogs under control
  • Put your litter in the bins or take it home
  • Protect and respect wildlife, plants and trees
  • No camping
