‘Wool, Woad & Wizards’

Join us on a guided walk of lovely Lavenham, one of the best preserved medieval wool towns. Discover the story of the rise and fall of the local wool trade, the links to a certain Mr Potter and learn the history of the medieval houses.

The tours are 90 minutes

Tickets are £5.00 pp

No need to book, just meet the guide at the Swan Hotel foyer.

Please wear suitable clothing and shoes.

This tour is suitable for all. Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
Please be aware that due to the medieval streets, scooters/ pushchairs are welcome with care.

Parking is currently free in the village, public car parks and on street parking available, but not at the Swan Hotel ( for hotel guests only)

Times: Wednesdays 2pm, Saturdays April 1st-October 31st 2pm, Sundays and Bank Holidays April 1st-October 31st 11am.
Tickets: £5 per person. Under 14's free of charge.
