We invite you to immerse yourself in this ancient land, and to listen to the plant wisdom that can be found everywhere…

During this practical, immersive, and experiential workshop, hosted by Claire from Bearnumber9, we will work with some of the commonly found and easily identifiable plants and trees enabling you to confidently identify, and embark on your own journey of re-discovery. Leechcraft is Early English for "the art of healing".

Drawing upon some of the Anglo-Saxon ways of preparing and preserving foods and medicine. Such as decoctions, tinctures, salves, and ointments.
You will have a chance to make something to take home.

We will cover the what, where, when, why and hows of foraging, and the foragers code for ethical harvesting.

Claire has been foraging since childhood learning from her elders on the Wash and the wild edges on the Norfolk coast.
Although she has enjoyed working with nature for many years she is forever the student and delights in the mysteries that reveal themselves throughout the seasons.
