Join us at West Stow Anglo-Saxon Village for a beginner’s taster day where you can try your hand at natural dyeing using plants.
Hear about how the Anglo-Saxons dyed their cloth and the colours they used. Take home your own dyed samples! All materials will be provided (including samples of wool, linen and silk). Extra Info:
Suitable for ages 12 and over – under 18s MUST be accompanied by an adult
Meet at the Visitor Centre
Please wear old clothes and bring an apron.
The workshop will be held outside and some parts without cover so please dress appropriately for the weather.
Please bring your own lunch. There is also a café on site
