Take a tour of The National Stud in Newmarket.
Meet mares and their foals, see the impressive stallions and greet retired legends on a working thoroughbred stud farm.
The National Stud opened its gates to the public for the first time in the mid-1970s allowing individuals, small groups, families and large parties the chance to see behind the scenes of a working Thoroughbred stud farm.
Tours of The National Stud last approximately 90 minutes and are taken by coach and on foot. The tours explore this beautiful 500-acre stud farm and focus on introducing visitors to the history and purpose of The National Stud and the chance to meet the horses residing there. The on-site Wavertree’s Coffee Shop serves a delicious variety of cakes, breakfasts and light lunches.
Blue Peter Badges welcomed with a paying adult.
